Tite Kubo is my hero
August 1, 2008Everyone that knows me knows that Bleach is the anime that really started my obsession. (Thanks Rachel) Well turns on that Tite Kubo, the creator of Bleach, was at the San Diego Comic Con this past week. He gave everyone that was able to attend his panel a glimpse of his studio, what his inspiration for the whole Bleach series, and even answered a few questions.
He was surprised by the size of Comic Con, which is his first time to visit. He then showed some pictures of his office, which hasn’t been seen by any of the public. He has a few assistance that work with him, but he picks out the music personally that plays through out the office. His music choices are quite widespread, with over 2000 CDs to choose from within his studio.
When asked about what influenced him into creating Bleach, he said it was inspired by wanting to draw shinigamis in kimonos and make something no one has see before. It all started with the character Rukia, (my sister-in-law’s favorite) and just went from there.
He was also asked if we would learn more about Ichigo’s father, Isshin. Looks like he has a back story in the works. I’m totally excited about that. Tons of rumors and speculations are running around about Ichigo’s father, and I can’t wait to find out.
Well, those are just some of the great snippets of Tite Kubo’s appearance. Make sure to check out giapnet.net for the full coverage!
